    Children are very impressionable.
When we teach a child the family dog is to be loved and cherished, but the pig on his plate is to be abused, dismembered, and eaten…
People grow up very, very confused….
This is literally the FIRST time we instill in a child's mind that it's okay to discriminate. People can argue whether this discrimination is justified, but it is factually, discrimination.
This is the basis for all forms of oppression: when children learn one being should live, and another it's okay to kill, even though these two beings are only separated by a slightly different outer appearance. the same reasoning is applied to racism and xenophobia.
And then the deceptive hiding of the torture, molestation, and sadomasochism behind closed walls in Death Camps we euphemistically call slaughterhouses in rural areas no one sees, and only showing you the result of the cooked corpse in an effort to desensitize you from the mutilated and dismembered corpse about to enter your mouth.
We either value ALL or we value nothing… our minds cannot make the distinction between who matters, and who does not. If we don't value PERSON A, then there's nothing preventing us from killing PERSON B.
These conflicting morals teach us it's OK to discriminate against certain types of people because we feel they're the "enemy."
That is why we have serial killers. When we live in a world where it was at one time legal to own a person, and now legal to enslave an animal, people cannot make the distinction between who has value and who does not. That line becomes blurry.
Notice Trump supporters don't care there are people being locked in a cage, wtf
If they don't care there's literal humans including children living in large cages where they eat and sleep, what kind of life do their animals have at home? They probably keep them in a crate all day long.
And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane
By those who could not hear the music.
