      Hi Mclerct.:
I`ve been searching on the net about this. Some people said little dogs are Cairn Terreir but, in my opinion, little ones are Shih Tsu. What do you think?

Nah not a Shih Tzu, I used to have 2. I think it's the Brussels Griffon too.

They are Brussels Griffon. My parents have 2 and they are identical to the dogs in this movie.

they are definately brussels griffon, thats what I first thought and now I have a dog breed book in front of me to prove it. I always thought they were ugly little dogs but those pups were cute. Any baby is basically cute though 🙂
Check out this search for more pics of the breed.

Brussels griffons are adorable, so are Cairn terriersI love dogs!
                But
I am so biased when it comes to dog breeds: CHIHUAHUAS RULE!
Now I know many won't agree with meand, as I said, I love all dogs; definitely a dog person! but I like cats dobut I have 3 of the most
                adorable
                long-haired Chihuahuas ever born!
(They actually look different than the Taco Bell dogs; those are short-haired Chis, but I like them too!) But often people don't even recognize what kind of dogs mine arethey think they're Pomeranians or Papillons. I wish I could show the whole world my "fur babies"! My oldest is 16 1/2 years old! Chi-Chi; she's amazing! She's mostly deaf; she has a lame back right leg but
                still
runs when she gets excited (laugh], she has had congestive heart failure for over
                two
years & has to have Lasix (a water pill) every day to keep her lungs from getting congested (her heart's getting too big), BUT she's still the queen of our pack here! Long live the queen! LOL
She weighs 4 1/2 pounds (I completely disapprove of "teacup" Chisthey're bred too small & end up with health problems, like low sugar). But Chi-Chi (Chiquita Bundle o' Joy) is one spunky old girl! I will be a puddle of mush when she dies!
But I will have years & years of wonderful memories!
We've (hubby & I) had her since she was 3 months oldgot her about a year after we got married.
Oh, how'd I get into all that?! Sorry! I talk too much!
But hope no one minded too much. I love our other 2 dogs just as much, but Cheech (nickname) is "Mommy's girl."
Well, I really must stop rambling now! LOL One more thing: I guess when a middle-aged woman doesn't have kids, all her maternal instincts can go into her pets. Or any age womanor man! Or whatever. Anyone who read all of this, thanks!
                Blessings!
                Chrys (Joymy real first name)

Believe me, they are Brussels Griffon, I have studied dog breeds for years, Yorkies don't have that pushed in face quite like the Brussels do and the colors are another thing. The dogs in the movies are all tan with black faces, exactly like the Brussels, Yorkies are tan and black, but it is different throughout their bodies. The ones in your picture are also mostly black, where the ones in the movie, and all brussels, are all tan with black only on their faces.
