I admit I have no idea what vegan turkey would be made of, I can only assume its made with a soybean product(???) If so, why would you stuff a soybean product with tofu?
Wouldn't that be like stuffing a chicken with chopped chicken?

i can only imagine that tofu used to stuff the turkey would be seasoned to taste lik stuffingand while i like certain vegan friendly products, that doesn't even sound remotely palatable.

Thanks for your reply. I doubted I'd get any replies, since I just realized I posted my topic three years ago!
But I agree, that sounds mighty unpalatable indeed. I like vegetarian dishes not a fan of most vegan stuff. Sara could have come up with something better than that.

i'm vegetarian and that sounds like crap to me lol if i wanted to eat turkey, i'd eat a fricking turkey, i didn't become veg to eat fake meat (tofurkey, really? w.t.f.)
that being said, tofu and soy can take the flavours of whatever its cooked with, so tofurkey stuffed with tofu would be like turkey with traditional stuffing. yes it's made from the same soya bean but the tastes, textures, etc would be very different.
and isn't stuffing vegetarian anyways? mostly potatoes and seasonings, right?
It's mercy, compassion and forgiveness I lack. Not rationality

I agree lol. Tofurkey always looked sinister to me.
Stuffing is usually made with bread, veggies, seasonings, and either a chicken or veggie broth.
