I'm pretty sure that wa in there to make clear there is no holding back on what piece of art what so ever. Contraband is contraband, copy or the real thing. Mona Lisa is regarded priceless and a supreme piece of art and yet still is burnt.

- In the future detectives will be call "Clerics" and dress like chauffuers or
a chef at Benihana's. - If a group of human beings is about to be gunned down in cold blood you should not risk being exposed to your enemies to save them, despite being able to kill roomfuls of machine gun wielding (bikers?)with the greatest of ease and using only pistols. But if a puppy is threatened, risks be damned!
- If the government tells it's people to take a mind-altering drug for the good of society only a handful of people will resist this totally logical concept. Despite the fact that said government will BURN YOU ALIVE if you do not take the drug.
- You don't even have to use your GUN FU if your opponents essentially blind themselves with dark-tinted helmets at night and have a tendency to not even point their guns at you when firing them.
- In the future zeppelins will make a comeback!

- Eradicating EMOTIONS because you FEAR war is not contradictory at all.
- Becoming visibly Angry at your subordinate is not a sense-offense.
Light travels faster than sound,
that's why people seem bright,

- In a world in which emotions are illegal, it's acceptable to get angry, smile, or get scared.
- Little pinheads in the butt of your gun are useful for hitting a great number of foes.
- It's cool for the holy father to have paintings in his nicely decorated room. He can feel emotion, it's not like he, the leader, is most viable to start a war or anything.
- Hiding the drugs (of which you have no plan to ever use) in your house is definitely much safer than hiding them elsewhere, or just discarding them.
- Killing thousands of people who disobey you is a great way to create harmony and prevent war.

- The future totalitarian government will be incompetent in making sure someone is not armed.
- Guards with swords hiding behind pillars are protection against someone with a gun who has a clear shot across the room.
- The leader of the world can hold his own in Gun Kata for a while against the state's most elite agent.

I loved the trends of these lists since they point out so many flaws and disbeliefs in movies and are mostly spot on.
I miss the trends of these lists and wish they would make a come back.

- As always there is a main hero guy who can dodge millions of bullets shot at him while he is a one man military and can take out all the elite and well trained and more heavily armed guards and enforcers that he has to with such ease.

- Despite all the flaws and how ridiculous and outright silly and impossible this movie is, I still find myself watching it time to time because it is pretty good.
