Loved the movie, love tarentino. But they have as much to do with eachother as this does with rambo or any other movie with guns. Just because it has a samuri sword does not mean its paying homage to anything tarentino. Thats such a absurd claim. I would guess this came out before kill bills (not 100% on that), and besides the pawnshop scene in pulp fiction the fact that it has a samurai sword and this movie does makes no difference. Samurai movies have been around for ages. Its it's own genre

Love Tarantino.
Found this movie to be preposterously unwtachable, featuring as it does the single stupidest and most incorrect premise I've ever encountered in sci-fi, filmed or written.
Prepare your minds for a new scale of physical, scientific values, gentlemen.
