I NEARLY FELL ASLEEP WATCHING THE CRAIG FILMS. THIS FILM KEPT ME ENTERTAINED THE ENTIRE TIME. OMG IT JUST SHOWS HOW STUPID PEOPLE ARE FOR LIKING THE CRAIG FILMS

Die Another Day isn't just the worst Bond film, it's one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Starts off great but completely falls apart in Cuba.

If you can actually sit through Die Another Day then I'd say you are. Even Pierce doesn't defend it, and from what I can tell he's incapable of even keeping a straight face when talking about it. I've seen 9 Bond films in the theater going back to A View To A Kill, Die Another Day is the only one of those films I've witnessed an audience ridiculing then walking out of.

That's still better than the audience experience from Spectre. Literally, the audience didn't make a peep, not one chuckle, or "wow"., or "that's horrible", or anything. Absolute silence from start to finish, and when the film ended? FIRST BOND EVER where I did not hear any applause.
Say what you will about DAD, but at least it went for all out entertainment, and while some disliked it, some of us absolutely LOVED it, including multiple reviewers who gave it BEST BOND EVER and 5 stars.
About Pierce, it's funny, as he has gone on record numerous times on saying DAD was his best work in the role, and the only laugh I've seen was about the tsunami surfing. You take out that one scene, and the film would be looked at much differently today.
Im glad they went for it. Why not! We have Bond in space, bond in lotus subs, bond dealing with CGI komodo dragons, why not some massive tsunami wave??
Die Another Day is like Moonraker, the pinnacle of pushing the envelope and going for the gold. Both are similarly viewed for that, too but Im in the "way to go" club on both!
