They're not the problems inherent to every Bond movie such as things that are or border on science fiction and a relaxed approach to international espionage that involves using one's real name and seducing every woman you come across.

    1. How is it that Moon could undergo gene therapy to completely change his appearance and Zao could get half way through the process but not get the diamonds & scars removed from his face?
    2. Wouldn't the staff at the clinic in Cuba be a loose end since they would've known what Moon looked like after the gene therapy? Maybe they were to be dealt with after Zao went through the same thing, but he started after Graves was created, so did Moon/Graves expect Zao to be free?
    3. How could Moon go from his original self to a rich guy with political connections and a knighthood in 18 months? Did the world give him a pass because of his apparent wealth?
    4. M says that Graves' backstory is that he discovered diamonds, made a lot of money, and gave half of it to charity. The diamond mine was fake. Moon acquired the conflict diamonds to pass off a being from Graves' mine. Seems like he'd need an enormous amount of diamonds which he would have obtained by selling North Korean weapons. So, where did he get the money to fund Graves' opulent lifestyle, Icarus, the fake mining complex, etc?
    5. If Moon has the money & other resources to fund Icarus, why become Graves at all? He could've faked his death, had a little surgery, re-emerged as a more private rich Asian guy, had Icarus built & launched, and carried out his master plan.

Why unlikely, true, the point was Graves became a Rags to Riches story, and with his wealth, he turned into a huge humanitarian and all the good deeds he was doing(on top of his adventure stuff which made him famous and known) with his new wealth is what propelled him to knighthood, political connections, etc.
It was a short amount of time, but Graves was shown to have quite the flair for theatrics, so you can imagine when he "discovered" the diamonds, that also played a part.
The rest were explained pretty good by the other poster 🙂
          Who's strangling the cat?
