Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Crazy/Beautiful

What is the title or artist of the song at the "
    very very
beginning of the movie" when you here Nicole's voice telling how everything started and Carlos and hist friends are hanging out at the beach by the bordwalk, then they meet Nicole for the first time when she was picking up garbage.
    The song seems to be
    mainly instrumental
and a female voice only "HoooOOoommmm" littlel sounds, no meanigul lirics. This is also the music played in the DVD main menu. The music is NOT in the CD soundtrack either; sorry, I have search all over the net for it with no luck, I think nobody really can find the artist/title of this piece except for the person who created it

Well, I've not seen this film so have no idea what this music sounds like but the sound designer on the film (how I got here) is a guy called Robert Rich, if it's the same one, he's a soundscape/ambient artist.. it could be him? But I really am clutching at straws on this one!

It's a different, instrumental version of "I Wanna Believe You" by Lori CarsonI want it so bad, but i don't know if the makers of the film tweaked it strictly for Crazy/Beautiful, or if it's available somewhere. People, help us!

What a shame! I guess we will just have to keep on checking this MB and writing little entries now and then under this post to keep at the top.

I think there is not much more than what you hear in the film. My bet is you're not gonna acquire it. I like it too, shame they didn't make it into something longer.

As you can see, no-one knows the name of this beep song.
It is obviously an instrumental made for the movie that goes for like 1 beep minute and they didn't want to put it on the soundtrack. If I could get $1 for every time someone asked about this beep song, I would be a millionaire.

Then it's even more of a shame they didn't put in on the CD.

The song was most likely a take on "I Wanna Believe You" by Lori Carson. And it wouldn't be available on the movie soundtrack. It would have been especially made for that particular movie. You would have to contact a place that holds movie songs like Heavy Hitters to find it. This is a standard practice in many movies.
