I loved this one. Was not impressed by the other two.

All three films are great, but this one is the best.

The books were much better, too bad they couldn't stick to the storyline of the books. The movie would have been better.

I wasn't disappointed on this one. But I was disappointed when they overchanged too much on the follow-ups (supremacy and ultimatium).
When all three films were aired on television, they all received bad reviews. I know Matt Damon is a good actor and did well in this trilogy, but I have a feeling that his talent may have grown too strong beyond the limit to play Bourne.
But I would rather repeat watching this movie only than its follow-ups, IMO.

I'm the opposite of you. I was really disappointed with this because the book is awesome and the movie would have been much better had they incorporated his nemesis and some of the other parts of the book.
I like the sequels because they are so far from the books that I dont even see them as anything to do with the books.

True, but I like the sequels in books rather than in movies because it has to do with too much overchanging.
This overchanging in this movie trilogy version may have gotten good reviews in theatres, unfortunately, it got too many bad reviews in television airings.

In my opinion, this was the best out of the trilogy, with Ultimatum coming in second and Supremacy coming in 3rd, by default. I really didn't like the Bourne Supremacy, I thought the fight between him and the guy with his hands tied was rather boring compared to the "big fights" in the other two. Not to mention, way too many close ups of Matt Damon's face.

I think that this is the strongest of the Bourne films so far. The story was excellent, the dramatic set pieces - the fight in his flat, the car chase with that amazing music, the show down in the snowy woodland - all of them are memorable. And the pacing was perfect. I could watch it over and over again.

I would say that each film got better considering what drives Jason to act out the way he does in each film. Identity was figuring out who he was, Supremacy draws him out from hiding to find out why they are still after him, and Ultimatum forces him to come to terms with how he became who he is. The next film will answer the question of what lead to the events of the first three films.
