I know I'm late to the game with this, but until last night I had never seen the film and was disappointed with it on seeing it on TV-I had always heard that it was well made and intelligent but I found it full of highly unlikely and obvious plot holes and illogical events. Right from the start when Bourne is fished out of the Med and the crew doesn't report finding him alive to the authorities and arranging a medevac-then the captain removing bullets from him that had barely pierced the skin and on and on-how did this get 3 sequels (and counting)?

Well,it's a good thing no one cares about your opinion. It's success and ratings prove you don't have a clue about what the majority of the world considers a good movie. So, you keep being disappointed with the great movies of the world and we will keep ignoring you.

But the majority of the world considers The Avengers a good movie. It's no thought whatsoever. Like this movie. If you're going to do an action movie, at least know you're an action movie and don't try anything else.
John Wick succeeded as an action movie, as did Mad Max. The Bournes did not.
But that's just my opinion. -

"The Bournes did not." What the hell?
That doesn't make any sense. The Bourne films clearly succeeded as an action film franchise. They did great with the box office, critics, fan response, AND fan reception.
Matt Damon did great here and did great with both sequels. They weren't 10/10, but what is? -

Right from the start when Bourne is fished out of the Med and the crew doesn't report finding him alive to the authorities and arranging a medevac
As you should recall, a storm was raging and they may not have been able to have communication with land at the beginning.
And, as the captain found out later that Bourne was suffering from amnesia, he may not have wanted to get him in any more trouble.
