I get misgendered sometimes when I order things at the drive-thru. I don't get into a hissy fit over it, though. If a company can be held liable for misgendering people, then wouldn't it also apply to cisgender? That'd mean cis people can get someone fired if they're mistakenly called ma'am on the phone or drive-thru where their face can't be seen.
