I first found it through looking for other films made by the director of "The Machinist", good job I gave it a look too - despite being a bit low-fi it definitely had intrigue and a bit of that 'creep' factor.

I just happened across it in the video store (back when people went to video stores) took a chance and fell in love instantly. I soon after bought it from Columbia House when they were still a thing. Boy 2001 WAS a long time ago.

I saw it at the video store soon after it came out on DVD. The creepy cover kept catching my eye so me and my best friend rented it. It scared me more than any movie has before or since. I love it deeply.

I was a university student in a small town in West Texas and they were showing the film for one week. This may date me, but I drove to the theater and looked at the marquee and saw the poster in the lobby and saw the film and loved it.
My awareness was as old school, non-technological as possible: I saw the poster and bought a ticket and the rest is history.
