I believe that's where I saw it mentioned as well. I'm about to watch it now.

I saw the last few minutes of the film, when Phil started to loose his mind, and killed everyone one. It was it back on Starz when I was 11 or 12. It absolutley scared the hell out of me. It took me several years to find it again on TV, when I saw it again it was still disturbing.

I used to actively work on a horror community site where we'd discuss movies and this was on lists of movies I found. I never saw it until about three years after I initially heard of it.

I saw a few minor previews several years ago (minor because this film didn't get a strong push upon release since it's a horror film and has a very low budget).
Then over the years various horror podcasts, blogs & such mentioned & discussed it regularly. For post 2000 horror, it's one of the most well-known to genre fans.

I saw it available on Netflix and when I saw who the director was, I as intrigued. This is an interesting film that quietly invades your brain and makes you think about it for days afterwards.

Someone on 4 chan dot org recommended it.
Besides the last few minutes, I thought this movie was really weak. Disappointing.
                Grade: D.

I first found it through looking for other films made by the director of "The Machinist", good job I gave it a look too - despite being a bit low-fi it definitely had intrigue and a bit of that 'creep' factor. 🙂

I found out about this movie by looking through the horror options in a video store. So go fvck yourself. I found it the hard way. On my own.

Was browsing "people who liked this also liked" then I discovered this film. Not bad for horror genre.

I just happened across it in the video store (back when people went to video stores) took a chance and fell in love instantly. I soon after bought it from Columbia House when they were still a thing. Boy 2001 WAS a long time ago.

I saw it at the video store soon after it came out on DVD. The creepy cover kept catching my eye so me and my best friend rented it. It scared me more than any movie has before or since. I love it deeply.

One time, years ago, I saw it playing on telivision one late night and was hooked. Did it come out in movie theatres?

I was a university student in a small town in West Texas and they were showing the film for one week. This may date me, but I drove to the theater and looked at the marquee and saw the poster in the lobby and saw the film and loved it.
My awareness was as old school, non-technological as possible: I saw the poster and bought a ticket and the rest is history.
