He's intelligent enough. He's determined enough. But after what went on, I don't see him making it to the Oval Office, because the conservatives would go against him. He didn't make a porn movie, but the Adult Education video, while smart, still featured porn stars, and even showed a condom going on a real person. He might have been a silent partner, but with some digging, a political opponent would find out that he was involved. And if he stays with Danielle? He seems to want to, but I highly doubt the people would want a former porn star to be the First Lady.
Good movie, and I enjoyed it, but let's hope this character would no longer try to run.

His chance of becoming president, was over waaaay before the ending (and so on). He had invited her to a cheap hotel to tap that ass, which revealed his view on women.

Matthew Goodman would be considered far-too conservative and simply out of touch with the masses. He might do well in the northeast and west coast, but terrible most of the middle states and landslided against in the deep south. By 2028the rate things are goingwe'll have Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho running for President.
