It's fascinating how many people are drawn to the Danielle character and how deeply they're affected. There was a great post many years back that read almost the same as this opening post. He said watching the movie was a life changing event, that he never felt so drawn to anyone, in a movie or in real life, that Danielle consumed all his thoughts, etc. etc. Then dozens of others replied to his message saying they felt the same way. They didn't just want to nail Danielle, they were madly in love with her.

Just watched the movie and I'm 29. I'd seen Elisha Cuthbert before in Happy Endings a show which I find immensely boring but here, she blew my mind anyway. The first half of the movie gives us an pretty intimate view of what it'd be like to date a really beautiful girl.

Man, I share your frustration. I remember when I first watched this flick. I stayed home "sick" when I was 15. Ordered it on PPV - not On Demand. PPV, where you couldn't FF or RW. So I started watching this thing and, my god, I was stunned at how insanely hot she was. So many scenes did it for me that I just couldn't take it. I have to recommend what someone else state - do one off. Or two. Or three. My teenage hormonal self just couldn't do anything else. The worst part is, when something that did it for me was happening, I couldn't pause it or rewind it. I had to whip it out and get on with it. I ended up ordering the film three times that day..
Yeah, I just gave away way too much info, but whatever. I don't even know what compelled me to get on here. -

Not that I recommend squelching this unexpected bliss, nonetheless if self-sabotage remains all too alluring a vice: look up nearly any recent photo of EC and compare it to '04. -

I watched the film a few days ago and was blown away, it was so good. But since then I have not been able to stop thinking about the movie. I think I have fallen in love with Elisha Cuthbert's character. I have never felt this way about a movie or a person before, and it is very difficult to deal with as it is consuming me day and night. Please help.
It's exactly three years on. Have you stopped thinking about her yet?
