No official word if it's over. If it is I'll be pissed because there are only about 30 episodes. I thought when they would move to channel 7 they would have a longer season.

Lol, yeah, well you would think that considering they moved to Seven that they would have more than just eight new episodes. Gina Riley and Jane Turner are always changing their minds, I remember when they said season 3 was going to be the last season but then they ended up having the telemovie and season 4.
Maybe they are producing the US K&K like Gervais and Merchant did for the Office and are therefore a bit busy with that and are taking a break?
Ah well, who knows.

They are producing it, but they're executive producers (that's more like a fluff title).

when gina rielly was on 9am with david and kim talking about the us version and touring with chicago she mentioned her and jane are writing (a new kath and kim as thats what they were talking about) but they dont commit to anything until they have most of a season written and think it is really good
