The movie was good at first but it didn't have a good ending. It seemed to me that the writers of this film didn't know quite how to wrap it up but they did anyway not knowing the right way to finish it. So when viewers least expect it - the movie is over, and Susan says goodbye to Goldie. And come on! Since the daughter was Valedictorian I was expecting the writers to come up with something better than that speech. During the speech, she kept repeating a certain word (which I cannot remember). It wasn't that impressive.

I kind of agree that the beginning of the movie was good and the end was rushed.I dont remember her repeating the same words just her saying you have to do want to do and not let anyone else decide for you.

The only thing amazing about this movie is how one can take all these great parts and come up with something so mangled.
This is one of the worst films of all times, please for the sake of all involved in this film never show it again. -

i'm sorry.. i have to disagree.. for two reasons i used to have a friendship just like that it was the best years of my life
and no i wasn't a groupie.. well not exactly lol.. er, kinda.. the other reason is the soundtrack which is damn fine
i do however agree that the ending was rushed and the speach at the end makes my hair hurt
