    Yeah, I always sensed some sexual tension between Daphne and Henry. But I think it's just because Firth and Bynes had good chemistry (nonsexual) as actors. Also, a lot of people on this board seem to have crushes on Colin Firth, so that's probably the main reason why his fatherly behavior in the movie is being misinterpreted, and as a result, the father/daughter relationship is being sexualized.

      No. He sees her mother (his true love) in her!
      The more he gets to know her, he remembers his care-free days,
      and it makes him think of Libby even more.
      The breakfast scene, with the toast, is showing how much they are alike!
      It is a wonderful father-daughter bonding. She takes him to the market that
      she discovered with Ian, and since she is vintage, it is a natural thing
      she shows him. He's forgotten those days with Libby, and it is awakening
      as evidenced by his trying on his old leather pants.
      Colin is a dish, still, but not for Daphne!
