How awesome (and hilarious!) is it that Glynnis was played by Anna Chancellor? It also tickles my Austen beard that Colin Firth plays Henry
    Dashwood
    , the Earl of
    Wickham
    . Poor Colin! He did
    Pride and Prejudice
so reluctantly! He'll spend the rest of the career either dodging or gamely accepting roles that directly or indirectly reference it.
Although it does kind of irk that they get the titles so wrong. They keep calling him Lord Henry or Lord Dashwood instead of Lord Wickham. What the hell? They might as well have called him Mr Giggles. With so many Brits on the set, you'd think someone would've pointed this out.

      hahah, I know!
I love that the movie St. Trinian's jokingly referenced a lot of his roles. I love that the dog in that movie was named Mr. D'Arcy. lmao

I thought so too, until they said in the beginning of the movie that he gave up his title in order to run for Prime Minister. IIRC, British Prime Ministers can only come from the House of Commons. He could still be "Lord Henry" (a courtesy title), but no longer "Lord Wycombe" (a peer).

What a shame that he never jumped into any lake or other body of water though. Quite the missed opportunity.

Also awesome and hilarious that she played Henrietta "Duckface" in "Four weddings & a funeral" where she was left at the altar by Hugh Grant!
