lol as a kid we built igloos
I grew up on a cul de sac, we got huge snowfalls in the early 70s all the snow wad ploughed towards the curb of our front lawns.
I remember what seemed like a mountain to me and jumping off the snowpiles

There was definitely more preceipitation, more snow, in Ontario in the 70s. I remember huge snowpiles too at the edges of the local church parking lot.

And the huge destructive ice storm of '98! Some people were without power for weeks. A ton of tree damage.
