1: Dark mood lighting through out the movie gave me a headache.
2: whats her name was much better in Ronin.
3: gives the internet a bad name
4: torture scenes were way to inexpilcit
5: did I mention the bad lighting
6: why could't they trace the Doctor's site?
7: based on the ring (which was one bad movie)
8: why didn't Denise head splatter over the car roof when she landed?
9: how come the German guy spoke perfect english in the cam corder?
10: relies on paranormal, which is all unbelievable stuff
11: should've stuck with the Doctor's torture stuff
12: I'll come up with more later -

The forensic programmer inserts a floppy disk backwards when she's trying to disconnect from "feardotcom.com".

1 Take asperin
2 Ronin was a decent flick,,,yes
3 The internet a bad name? Been to any stupid websites lately?
4 As far as torture scenes go it was not the best but then I don't care for torture all that much anyway.
5 Yes the lighting was bad.
6 Because the doctor was smart enough to use a proxy server. If you are smart enough to put a website up that kills people than you can probibly mask you site so it cannot be traced.
7 Major disagreement. The Ring killed though the original Japanese Ringu was far better.
8 he he he you would like that wouldn't you
9 Because if he spoke German in the film none of the english speaking audience members would know what he was saying and the film makers know that english speakers are too lazy to read subtitles.
10 So did the Exorcist. But then again, paranormal is what all horror flicks have in common.
11 Agreed but too much torture leads to audiences getting upset stomachs.
12 Please do.
And let me add my own thing I hated worst.
You don't see Natascha McElhone naked! -

really, EnemyOfTheState? you can't be serious. you just can't be. do you even know what German sounds like? the kid was screaming in German when he was brought in to the station or wherever that place was that he died. he was speaking MOSTLY in German throughout his scenes!! he had one line in English. one. that's it. the rest was German. -

I realize this is an ancient post, but I've got to respond to this:
8: why didn't Denise head splatter over the car roof when she landed?
I'm no medical examiner, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that between the way the roof of the car gave some under the impact of the body and the car's suspension system would create a sort of cushioning effect that would prevent a head from just exploding like ceedoubleyou expected to see. It's not like she landed on pavement, which doesn't give unless something extremely heavy lands on it.
Ever seen that scene in Two If By Sea where Denis Leary teaches the kid how to catch a raw egg? Same idea. -

- The ridiculous "you take one computer and add another computer" speech.
- Whats his name was better in Blade. Sad.
- The Ronin chick getting stabbed by the doctor with what appears to be a turkey baister, only to have no visible damage done to her neck a scene later.
- The woman screaming "you're going to kill me, aren't you?!" as shes hung by her arms, naked, being caressed with a knife, and blindfolder for good measure. My friends and I all screamed "no beep as a reply.
- Wow was there bad lighting.
- "My daughter was a hemophiliac; she was afraid of the slightest sharp objects." 5 seconds later in the scene: "oh yeah, thats the rusty decaying scrap yard of an abandoned steel mill where she loved to play as a child. You know, a natural place for a hemophiliac to romp at."
- The commentary featured no formal apology. In fact, the director thought he produced a work of art, complimenting the movie on many occasions (I bought it discount for obvious reasons).
- Was apparently filmed entirely during a solar-eclipse.
- Actual name of the site in the movie: Feardotcom.com. Even the name of the movie was botched.

I bet you they made it feardotcom.com because fear.com was already taken, and they didn't want to pay copyright fees to the people that own fear.com. And basically they know that a lot of people would be visiting the site just from the movie, so they had to make a site. I guess that was the cheapest alternative. Also, I havent seen the movie yet, but the trailer actually looks pretty good. I guess they managed to screw it up huh.
Hey you know whats funny. I always thought that dogs..um..laid eggs. And I learned something today. -

fear.com is the worst movie i've ever seen. I wish i could come up with 20 things that were wrong with it, but that would mean that i would have to see it again and i can't bear that thought. PS, maroonmachine, you are absolutely right. of the many, many things that bothered me about the movie, the fact that the website was actually called feardotcom.com was, by far, the one that bothered me the most. Im glad i'm not the only one that noticed it.

I watched this movie when I just had surgery and couldn't move out of bed. I watched about 45 mins of it and had such a bad headache from the damn continuous dark blue lighting, not the mention the horrible plot and dialogue that I shut it off and went to sleep. The movie wasn't one bit scary, it was actually funny at times. Do yourself a favor and never bother to see this rubbish.

Not to say this movie wasn't HoRRiBLE but don't say stupid facts (aimed at connor). If you have ever taken a science class, hemophilia is sex-linked and recessive. That means the mother would be a CARRIER of hemophilia and the father would be a hemophiliac. Both would pass on the gene along with the X chromosomes and that's when you are proven to be an Idiot.
PS. The movie SUCKED!
