This is the day I lose my faith in IMDB ratings. Especially when you look at movies like Battle Royale and My Sassy Girl

4 years later and it's still 7.6
This movie is one of my all time favorites and I easily gave it a 10/10 but I can see why some people would give average or below average scores. The themes and subject matter relates more to younger people I think, people that have grown up with technology or have the hardships of youth still fresh in their mind.
But yes as the previous poster said, it's very artsy and niche. I'm sure some people find it a pretentious film.
