I think he was one of Hoshino's "sidekicks" but i'm not sure. One of the two older looking guys perhaps??

Just saw this movie now. I'm almost positive he wasn't in the movie. Not even as a sidekick. Also I think he did Blue Spring in 1999? In which he played the major character and before that Taboo, his first acting appearance/main character in the movie. It would be weird for him to play a minor role considering his talent and where he played bigger roles in the aforementioned movies. Has to be a typo.

He's an older and much admired schoolmate. You can see him when Hasumi stammered something to him during one piano/choir scene. I will take a screen shot if you still can't find him.
