For those outside of America, does it bother you how culturally dominate USA is?

Much of the movies and TV that the world enjoys are American. The styles are American. Music is largely American. All of these mediums are mostly controlled by American companies. Do you think the USA does a good job as a cultural influencer, or do you wish another country would emerge as the dominant cultural force in the world?

It seems like some of you may be bothered. I can understand that. If I wasn't American, I'd probably rather see entertainment produced from my region that might represent my views better as well. I think Hollywood has tried its best to represent more people recently. Most new movies are produced with the world market in mind.
