The theory is her kid could have unknowingly exposed deadly peanut atoms to people with severe peanut allergies. I guess that is true, but if the environment poses such a threat to someone's safety, should they ever leave the house? Aren't some genes meant to be weeded out?

A mother in New Zealand petitioned for no child to be allowed peanut butter sandwiches, at school, because her little girl was allergic.
I feel for the mother, but holy ****! Holding a whole school to ransom!

That's the norm here. No peanut butter sandwiches are allowed in schools.

I think something like that would've been unheard of when I was a kid. But a lot more kids have peanut allergies these days - and we all know the reason for that, but we're too scared to say it publicly.
