Which is the better versus movie? I say FvJ because it was shorter, more enjoyable, and the title characters fought 4 times longer than Batman and superman did!

Well the Batman vs Superman movie had better effects, Freddy vs Jason was a better build up and long awaited than the former, simply because Batman vs Superman they were friends and Freddy vs Jason never crossed paths. Both movies could have been better, but I will go with Freddy vs Jason because that was more of a dream match, though it happened about 15 years too late.

Could these two worked together in the same movie?

As far as actually being a versus movie, FvJ is vastly superior. Much more fight time between the two icons. Dawn of Justice used BvS as a selling point rather than just making a good setup for the Justice League

Personally, I prefer Freddy vs Jason, but I'm a massive Freddy Krueger fanboy, so that probably explains a lot of it. The majority will probably side with Batman vs Superman as the more mainstream film.
BvS was decent, and I liked it. So, I'm not saying it was a bad movie or trying to diss it. But at the same time, I find DC movies are at slight risk of taking themselves too seriously. Superman's character in Man Of Steel felt a bit too Batman-like. He was willing to break rules, and spent a lot of time brooding and wondering if he was doing the right thing. The public at large weren't sure whether they could trust him.
In more tradiotnal media, Superman was more of a darling to the people of Metropolis, it was Batman who was seen more of dubious character. A vigilante. That was how the relationship/tension between Superman and Batman was presented in the comics. The same cause, but they had very different methods. So, Batman vs Superman felt like a difficult place to start from.
In the end I felt like Freddy vs Jason and Batman vs Superman were too different types of movie. More different than you would suspect, considering they are both movies about two iconic characters clashing for the first time. F vs J felt like they were just having fun with a concept, and B vs S felt like they thought they were making a several hour long epic, exploring morality, emotions and the characters relationship with their parents. Then Batman and Superman have a brief little fight at the end. Two different approaches to the same type of movie.
Again, I'm not saying B v S is a bad film. It's not. It's actually a very good film. It just felt a bit heavy for a Vs. movie. F vs J is more goofy and fun, and you aren't expected to take it seriously.
Over the years, I have rewatched Freddy vs Jason many, many times. I like it, it's a fun movie.

FvJ. Reason being: No Eisenberg going coocoo for cocoa puffs.
