Maybe for his next in the trilogy Lars could make a film about how America saved Denmark from the oppression of Nazi occupation.
Oh wait, that would go against the theme of anti-americanism, wouldn't it? -

And what did we save Denmark for? What's that "freedom of speech" thing we keep repeating to ourselves? Just a catchy slogan, or is it supposed to actually mean anything?
If you think Von Trier should be grateful for our protecting his country by only saying positive things about us, you are promoting something, but it's not freedom of speech. It's closer to the worldview of the Islamic thugs who murdered the Danish documentary maker than being some lofty paragon of virtue.
Is America perfect? No. Is it as bad as Von Trier makes out? Nope. America is a country of 300 million stories, and there is no way anyone can boil them down to simplicities in a movie or novel, so calm down and get over yourself.
PS - you are just as entitled to think his film is ridiculous as he is to have made it. See how this works?
"Youve no wounds to show, so wash your car in your X baseball shoes."
