Wow. I have a lot fewer siblings than a lot of people here; not something I see a lot in my daily life
The kids in my family all start with J.
Jay (that's me
)
Jenny
JoAnn
Sometime what happens, because our names all start with 'J', is when my mom calls one of us, she has to go through all our names before she gets to the right one
She'd go "Jay! No, Jenny! No, wait, JoAnn!!!"
Come to think about it, my parent's have some siblings.
My dad's the fourth among 6. My mom is the youngest among 3. And everyone has at least two kids except one of my aunts on my father's side. So.. crazy

I have 12. I had them with different mothers, but I have full custody of them (my wife has adopted 6 of the 8 that aren't hers) and I am the one that gets to care and provide for them.
That being said I have 3 sets of "twins" (months apart, different mothers obviously but you'd be surprised at some of the questions I get).
Naomi - 9 (April '99)
Harmony - 9 (Jan '00)
Loralee (Rory) - 7 (Jul '01)
Wendy (Wednesday) - 7 (Dec '01)
Zackary (Zack) - 5 (Mar '03)
Jesse - 4 (Feb '04, Naomi's full brother)
Katy - 4 (May '04)
Indie - 3 (Jun '05, first with now-wife)
Timothy (Timmy) - 3 (Aug '05)
Brady - 2 (Sept '06, Indie's full brother)
Ramsey - 1 (Oct '07, Indie and Brady's full brother)
Miley - 3 months (Nov '08, Indie, Brady, and Ramsey's full sister)
The kids named Miley. I picked Cirrie, but whatever. She can change it later if she hates it. Cirrie is her middle name and she can always go by that too.
Yes, I have kids in every month. It just kinda happened like that (I wasn't exactly trying to plan when I started at the age of 16) up until I was with my wife, then we figured that since we wanted a large family anyway, it'd be cool if we planned to have a child in each month. That was more of a "her" thing she wanted to try and it's not like it's that hard to do anyway.
We like the movie because it reminds us of how we are, and how it's going to get crazier as the kids get older, but it's also just a cheesy reminder of how it's great to have a large family that will always be there for you too. -

As for some of these people lying about how many siblings, that's just stupid. What a stupid thing to lie about.
As for crazy names, I guess it's possible, since people are getting "more unique" with the names they choose, so okay.
As for twins named Dylan and Cole, I guess that would depend on how old the twins in question are, if the siblings had a hand in naming them, the ages of the siblings, etc.
I made that mistake with Miley obviously. I let the kids pick out Ramsey's middle name (Oliver-Corbin), but when I said they could name Miley, I said "use Cirrie" instead of making myself crystal clear that Cirrie was to be her first name. Oh well, it's a good thing we're done having kids. -

Theres four of us, I'm the third. Where I live most families only have one or two children so I often hear remarks like "Didn't your parents have a TV back then?" even though I wouldn't personally consider four kids as a large family alot of people where I live do.

There are 11 girls and 3 boys in my family; no twins or adoptions. My one sister (born a year before me) died at birth but everyone else (mom and dad included) are alive. I'm the 10th child and am the oldest living at home so most of my siblings have moved out (all but four). I honestly don't feel there is much to compare (other than the size) to the Baker family. I guess when my nieces and nephews are around, things can be as loud and rowdy as the Bakers can get but that's about it. (I have 13 nieces and nephews and no grandparents).
