No Ma'am, I'm not a hero. We'd all be heros if we quit using petroleum, though.

That's Hollywood. Always portraying something incorrectly.
Most of the time when animals attack people, it cos the people are goin' places they have no business goin'. I always root for the animal.

        Let's be honest here, people.
Bears are mindless killing machines! I mean, why not put on a blindfold and hold a newborn baby out in front of an adult bear and see what happens if they're such warm fuzy creatures.
        Bears are
        NOT
        pets! They are
        NOT
like cats and dogs. They are
        NOT
misunderstood gentle giants that are fun to play with and take for a nice walk in the park.
Bears are evil, godless creatures and must be treated as such!

Unlike the North American black bear, the grizzly bear is extremely dangerous and is known to attack without provocation. Up to 10 feet tall standing upright, they're the closest thing we have to a monster.

I live in the same town in Wyoming as Mark Spragg ( the writter of "An Unfinished Life"). And grizzly bears DO maul people quite often. I've seen the effects of it, and it's in the news around here ALL the time. If you get close to their young or food, they will not hesitate to kill you. Like the previous person said, the man in "Grizzly Man," he got killed because he thought bears were "nice animals." What a dumbass.

Bears aren't being killed because they are being portrayed as monsters in the movies. Any of the many movies that have had Bart or Little Bart have done legions for the understanding of bears.
Bears are being killed because there are a lot of ignorant folks who think it is really cool to kill such a big and wild animal. Lots of men with little members!

I don't understand why in real life, people don't understand that guess what!? The animals were here first! HUMANS encroach upon the animals homes and then expect the animals to just deal. Don't want animals to attack? Quit walking through the woods, leaving your trash all over, and clearing out the forests for homes no one can afford right now anyway.

I realize it's seven years down the road from your post, but bears aren't exactly cuddly pets.

This will be the high point of my day; it's all downhill from here.
