by xPhenomenusx Point invalid because Morgan never said anything inflammatory. The guy who flipped him off and cursed him out kind of did though.

I know it may be hard to look up the meaning of words, but it's publicly available knowledge. Try that next time.

You mean like the FACT that historians have already been making comparisons to Trumps/Bannons rhetoric to that of Hitler?
        Try informing yourself next time.

I feel like Jeffries played right into the type of caricature Piers was talking about. Nothing that Piers said was unreasonable or offensive and Jeffries exploded at him and ended it by giving him the 1 finger salute.

Except that Piers kept interrupting the others and talking over them . . .

Bill tends to do that too. I was curious as to what Piers said that provoked "hysteria". I'm not a fan of his but he kept his composure and remained very calm - I didn't agree with EVERYTHING he said but he did make some valid practical points. Jeffries can be funny but he became immature with the name calling and flipping of the middle finger. When people lose their cool, they lose the fight. Jeffries' message will most likely not be remembered as much as his behavior.

"I was curious as to what Piers said that provoked "hysteria"."
You will have ask WhoToTrust above in this very thread. He also makes this claim.

As I explained earlier in this thread (
and which MGurlea obviously didn't understand
), Morgan SAYING Jeffries responses amounted to "hysteria" doesn't automatically mean that Jeffries responses amounted to "hysteria".
That is obviously how Morgan WANTED Jeffries response to be viewed (
in the same way that MGurlea obviously wants MY responses to be viewed negatively
), but Jeffries was simply stating a fact that Trumps rhetoric and actions since he's been in office have been VERY similar to that of Hitlers early in his rise to power.
That Morgan was obviously refusing to acknowledge the parallels is what Jeffries was raising his voice towellthatand the fact that Morgan was trying to portray Jeffries as losing his audience (in an attempt to discredit what he was suggesting)when Jeffries and the audience proved that was an obvious falsehood on Morgans part.
And lastly, the idea that Morgan was keeping his composure and remaining calm throughout the entire discussion is also a matter of opinion, seeing as how he was continually raising his voice to try to talk over and/or through others who were voicing opposing opinions.
In that regard, Jeffries flipping the middle finger was a clear sign that he HAD NOT lost his exchange (or his cool) with Morgan despite Morgan trying to suggest otherwise, and I would be willing to bet that the behavior the audience and most people who watch that video will remember Jeffries for is the same as I've just said, meaning that his message about Trump will be remembered the same way too.

Defending Trump's presidency to any degree is unreasonable and offensive to many of us.

And in that regard, Piers Morgan was the perfect messenger.

In a quote/unquote 'normal' situation, labeling some of what we are seeing now hysteria may not be far off the mark. However, what we have currently going in is
                        anything but normal
. There aren't enough hours in the day to list the insanity that is in the White House right now.
Bill made a great point that was lost. If Clinton would have won, the right would have begun the impeachment process already, even
                        with no FN idea
what they would base it on.
I see news article questioning whether late night TV comedy is taking it too far. And although the news is reporting every dumb thing His Orangeness does, they still are letting Conway, Spicer, and that punybrain that Stephenoplolis had on Sunday get away with complete dodges and lying. I am for SNL, Colbert, and Meyers having their nightly Trump segment. If he is willing to give them all the material by tweeting like a 12 year old schoolgirl every day, he is fair game for them.
You just have to be resigned-
                        You're crashing by design
