So why DO white women support Trump?

Probably the same reason white men do. When the tape came out with Trump bragging about being able to grab ahold of "pssies", it occurs to me that maybe he wasn't talking about the female body part, but about his SUPPORTERS. They are unbelievable pssies, and he is certainly very good at grabbing ahold of them. I say that because they are the kind of people who can't economically compete in the world, so they want to tear up trade treaties and build a $15 billion wall to keep out the "competition". They can't keep themselves or their children off of drugs, so they blame the countries that produce them (never mind that with prescription painkillers that country is the US). They're scared of Islamic terrorism, so they're going to keep more and more of the world out without realizing they're locking themselves in. (I personally consider Istanbul one my favorite cities, and I'm not about to let ISIS stop me from going there, or Trump stop me from coming back).
White women are even bigger pssies than white men. People make too big of deal of the 2016 Trump "avalanche", considering he lost the popular vote and the GOP LOST congressional seats, but what was more interesting was a US Senate race in 2014 where a Colorado Democratic candidate made the mistake of trying to appeal to white women by running on "women's health issues". But most women at the time were panicking about the Ebola virus that the black president was supposedly going to let scary black people spread to America. Ebola, like terrorism, is something you're better off "fighting over there", so you don't have to "fight it over here", which you will sooner or later if it spreads. And if it doesn't spread (ISIS isn't even winning in Iraq and Syria at the end of the Obama administration), well, you're just being a big pssy for nothing.
Besides, white women are well aware that abortion and Planned Parenthood will still be available in half the states in US when the Supreme Court strikes down Roe vs. Wade. The dumbasses who live in Kansas and Nebraska can just go to Colorado or fly to California or the Northeast. They may be scared pssies, but they're not dumb enough to fall for the Jane Fonda-style alarmism.
I DO think white women will more swiftly become disenchanted with Trump when America doesn't "become great again", which is a hollow promise even if Trump exceeds expectations and is a COMPETENT president. Even in the unlikely event that Trump succeeds, I don't hold out much for dumbasses and pssies.

Did you go to one of Bernie Sanders Facebook events?? The far left PSYCHOS taking over the Democratic party were talking about NO voter registration so ANYONE can show up & vote WITHOUT any ID! They talked about chain migration and semi OPEN borders so illegals could basically bring their entire family tree over! They talked about MASSIVE increases in Muslim immigration!
The word of these far left positions spread all over the internet among Trump supporters & independents and inturn they kept sharing it! This destruction of American cultural identity is a big reason why about
2600 counties voted for Trump while less than 500 voted for Hillary!
In summary,white women voted for Trump in part to avoid turning America into a quasi OPEN borders Euro socialist state!
You should also ask why over 200 of the 700 counties Obama won switched to Trump!!

So you believe in open borders?? That was NEVER mentioned in the past but it was this past election cycle! The very talk of open borders from the far left in the Sanders crowd drove many of them right to Trump or not to vote at all!

Why do some white women (and men) support Trump?
I'd say it's simply because they don't make the effort to differentiate between the fake "alternative fact" news that they believe is true..and actual fact.
And more often than not, I've personally seen that they don't make the effort to differentiate/verify for themselves whether those stories are true/untrue or not because they simply WANT to believe they're true/untrue.
It's like one of the Washington Womens March signs I saw a picture of that said:

Don't blame Trump, he did everything he could to prove he was unfit to be President
".
