Can anyone who has read the novel tell me how faithful the film was by contrast? I'm considering giving 'Babylon Babies' a read, and while I know a book is always superior to any movie translation, I am curious to know just how far apart these two really are. Thank you.

I read online that the extended version (which is way way better than the US theatrical version) is more faithful to the novel. I'm not sure how close they are as I haven't read the novel.
I plan on reading it at some point, so I'd say give it a shot. If you don't like it, nothing lost
