This movie gave me the very same claustrophobic feeling as playing the PS2 game "Silent Hill: The Room". It's not the same story, and by no means anyone copying anybody. It just has many similar feelings. The creepy apartment building. Screaming coming from behind aptartment doors. Screwy apartment numbers. Great movie and I highly recommend the afore mentioned game. creeeepy!

This movie is a remake. The original movie came out 20+ years before ANY Silent Hill video game did.

It did have a similar feeling to SH4
that being said, I gotta tell you, SH4 was the WORST of the PS2 series. In fact I DOZED off one night while playing SH4DOZED OFF!!!I didn't think it was possible to doze off to sleep playing a video game, but SH4 was the exception to that rule!
I'm slowly making my way through
Silent Hill: Homecoming
on PS3 and its MUCH better!!!
