I dont understand some of the plots in the movie ? Was she fuking her dad ? Why'd she introduce Elizabeth Short to her dad ? And why'd his dad want to shoot a movie or arrange a date for his gardener(?)/friend Georgie ? Swanks mom Ramona is some over acting crazy bith . I was laughing while she was throwing her tantrums all over the screen ..

Hillary Swank's character, Madeleine Linscott, was Georgie Tilden's daughter, not Emmett Linscott's. Ramona Linscott was her real mother, though.
