Watched this movie on the HBO last night with me nan and we were both so fascinated we could not look away and leave even to take a bathroom piss break! 2 full hours of characters acting in the stupidest way possible and saying the dumbest things I have ever hear, it was impossible not to watch as Tom Cruise turned in the worst performance of his career, acting as if he were in a room reacting to air as the details were filled in later by magic tricks!
I know if **** is going down I will probably also crowd as close to the source of danger as possible so I can get a better look even as aliens are zapping everyone in sight! When the danger is passed I will gather with everyone else on the interstate to slowly shamble down the road all in the same direction like mindless zombies, not even bothering to react as one car speeds down the road past us mindless selves! If the army engages the aliens we will all rush forward behind the army troops to offer our support and get a better look as we all gets slaughtered like chickens!
And the hiding scene in the basement which went on for 30 minutes, moving around like cat and mouse games while an alien eye probes after we! Oh the humanity! Such a classic!
This is probably the worst major movie I have ever see, even worse than Battlefield Earth! Can Steven Spielberg ever hope to show his face after this 0/10 embarassment! I hope never again.
