Having a Marathon of the first two movies made my craving for the third Hellboy intense. Hell they're waiting too long. Ron Pearlman ain't gonna be on board forever.

I doubt their bromance man. But Del Toro seems like already giving up no the project. Only Time will tell man.

Ohhhh no, they are definitely bromance material. (nothing homosexual about it) Perlman has even laughed and admitted that Del Toro and he are good pals.
You should see the bonus features/behind the scenes of Pacific Rim between the two and you'll clearly see the buddy relationship between the two.
As for the Film. ever since Perlman dressed up as Hellboy for a young child that went through chemo, he and Del Toro have frequently talked about making a third. The story has pretty much been created and Perlman (and I'm sure Jones would definitely still be interested) Which like I said, the main issue now is finding a company that could Fund it.
I have high hopes someone will eventually pick it up, but the fact is (even though Hellboy is one of the greatest Comicbook/movie adaptions) People will gobble up all this Dark Knight, Superman, main stream heroes.
Which is the main reason some companies are hesitant to Green light Hellboy 3 (because quality could be great, but it won't mean much to the industry if they can't make their money back)
Just wait though, maybe in a year or two we'll see a trailer. Which with the distance in time from the sequel, may bring more interest.
But who knows.

@Enlightened dude I appreciate your Optimism and thanks for all the infos. Yes, certainly Hellboy is far better than main stream Marvel, DC CBMs. But General Public only goes with the popular ones, as it seems. Sigh. All right, then I'm gonna sit tight and wait for Hellboy 3's trailer. What Story Arc do you think will suite the movie ?

Personally. I want to see Hellboy's kids.
I also want to see Liz suffer due to the choice she made in the second.
I also want Hellboy to die and go to Hell as he did in the comics.
I think all of these things would be great for the Third act. Where either he sacrifices his life and gets sent to hell, To avoid the apocalypes, or he goes to hell, only to come back.
It's one of the things I love about Hellboy.
He IS a demon, despite what he does for the world and how much good. His blood is stained, and his place after death is set.
i feel the best hero is choosing self damnation for the sake of the ones he loves.
on an unrelated note, (While I'm watching Golden Army)
I think one scene (or better. line) Gets ignored when people watch the movie.
it's in the beginning when Agent Steele says "Go Get up to the safe Abe!. Go abe Go!"
And abe simply returns "Ok! I'm Going!" I laugh every time I hear this. It's like "yeah yeah. Shut Up I'm Going already!" And then Agent Steele gets dragged down the stairs. bwahahaha.

Fear it has been far to long, and sounds like the studio have lost all interest in it.
Parts 1 and 2 were lukewarm responses at best (in terms of the box office) but were not bad movies (there have been A LOT worse movies that have had less deserving sequels out of them) but just seems no interest in this.
Pearlman is in his mid 60's now, and any attempt to replace him would be a good as a reboot, and all expectations based on the first two movies will be lost (they got away with Hyde Pierce because it was only his voice), so any proper 3rd movie has to be made within the next couple of years, and just now we seem no closer than any other point over the last 5 years (was really hoping with Del Toro off the Hobbit project that this would get off the ground, but nope)
