It's billed as a sexy thriller. I found it not especially sexy and far from a thriller. There wasn't nearly enough
    sustained
suspense to qualify for that designation. It was basically a rehashed drama about a guy who cheats on his wife, with five or six minutes of suspense at the end. Ho-hum. What a wast of time.

I think that Match Point is Woody's best work. But, you know, it is just like my opinion, dude.
P.S. I doubt that the sript could have been improved by an intellectually challenged 10 year-old. Now, the original post must have been written by one.

People care too much about realism these days. Every character in this movie is a stuck up entitled brat, and that's intentional. The script is totally fine once you realize these aren't supposed to be normal people. The acting is partially over the top for sure, but it's not distractingly bad, you people just pretend it is because you hate the movie. I just found it a very entertaining story that went from relatable to completely insane.

The ending was crap, and some of the acting was hammy, but there is something I quite liked about this film.
