It’s very strange how he doesn’t like it. I’ve just watched it with Ricky and think it’s my favourite of the series. Also we both cried at the end too…cried just like the new Doctor. Bawling like great big babies.

Oddly Bobby The Doctor didn't cry in this episode (That I remember anyway, maybe he did but I was four sheets to the wind when I watched it).
Tharries shares my outlook on this episode. I could just about handle all the ups and downs before it but as a finale this was particularly poor and matched the vibe of the rest of the series

He was none stop bawling!! He was barely without that cheek tear and he full on scriked at the end when Ruby Road left him.
Please do me a favour and don’t show that video to Ricky. He really loved the episode and I don’t want him to be lead down a dark path by Tharries.
This is the REAL reason why I’m being so positive about it.

I think if Tharries is out then we've lost even the most hardcore of the viewship who are prepared to drag themselves over hot coals to stand by the hero they love, or should I say loved.
Capaldo was the end of it and there's no going back unless they let you start being showrunner

No, Ricky still absolutely loves it! A fact that I am extremely thankful for.
It’s certainly not a good time to be Tharries. He’s invested his entire life in Doctor Who and built up this finale so much and it’s out and he hates it. He DESPISES it. He will have some incredibly difficult times ahead.
At least he will always have the time that he saw Doctor Who at the cinema with other Whoovers. That’s an experience which can’t be taken away from him at least.

He did get to see it in the cinema Bobby and so there's always that excitement cherished with this bitter memory for him
It was heartbreaking watching him admit that this one wasn't the one for him
But, like many a man before him certain favourite stories get pulled out from under you by showrunners or directors who you thought you could trust with the content that made you so happy to be a fan.
For some it was Alien with Ridley Scott, for others it was Star Wars with George Lucas, others it was Steven Spielberg with Indiana Jones and there are many other examples out there.
Poor Tharries got his moment with Russell T Davis and Doctor Who, he knows the true regret of many of scorned fanboy
He is complete now. He has been assimilated into the collective of haters

It is a tragedy really when you think about it.
I mean take you and I…if a franchise that we love starts to disappoint us, it isn’t a huge deal because we have lots of things that we enjoy. However there are people (like Tharries) who are ‘all in’ on that franchise, so if their enjoyment starts to diminish…well their entire world just becomes more bent out of whack and difficult to comprehend.
At least he’s got Gavin and Stacey I suppose.
Also I can’t believe he didn’t like the part where the Doctor and Ruby Road took Sue Tech for walkies.

I can't believe The Doctor had to find the last woman alive in the universe for a spoon when we all know that he carries them with him at all times!?
Can you imagine him fighting Robin Hood without his spoon?

I think that I fell asleep during that but. It’s been a very tiring day at work so Ricky had to wake me. I know that he jammed a spoon into the TV and then they’re watching Pyramids of Mars and Ruby Road asks why it is Egyptian themed and the Doctor says ‘because it’s racist’.

Tharries said that it was just Ruby Road who popped up betwixt the two episodes. She said something like ‘I hope that you get the answers that you were hoping for (whilst probably doing the ‘wanker’ sign beneath the camera).
Nowhere near as good, but still fun and it at least shows that there were no hard feelings with her sacking.

Oh, but it will the the Trickster all along Bobby and the entire first season was just a tee-hee and everything we just watched (Waited for and second to those who bought it up from Disney) was all RTD doing a rib poke because that's what a black gay Doctor would do and those expecting a white straight Doctor should go and get wrecked but it'll be our little secret so don't tell Mummy or the imam because that would spoilt the magic here have you seen the new Nobbleberry trailer?

Well that looks like lots of fun I’m sure.
Listen, don’t know what the general consensus is on the finale as I haven’t been looking (and I’m waiting to see what Council of Geeks thought before forming my own opinion), but if it’s negative then please don’t tell Ricky. I’ve told him that it is positive and that everyone is loving it and that there is a real Who Buzz in the air and it’s the mid to late 00s all over again.
It’s better for him if he thinks this, believe me.
