Tharries thinks that it was originally going to be Captain Jack in that role last night.
It was a nice little love story, but very rushed and it makes the crying Shooty Doctor look even more like a wet blanket.

        Afternoon Bobby!
Ricky said you watched it together and that he really liked it while you thought it was just OK.
Shooty really does cry an awful lot, doesn't he? Another Scifi Guy seems to think that Rogue could still be Jack because Jack's memories were wiped at some point by the Time Agency and he doesn't remember what he was up to for a few years. So if he changed his face to be in disguise and lost his memories it would all work out. But if we're going to stretch it then I've got the perfect idea which will make it all make sense to all the fans out there
        Rogue has a G and a U in it.
U is the 21st letter of the alphabet and G is the 7th.
        21-7=14.
The 14th letter of the alphabet is N.
If you flip N on it's side it is looks like Z.
That makes Rogue 'Roze' which is a secret way of saying Rose
It is a thankless job being me, but like The Doctor I do it for everyone to have a happier world to live in

Hello there Siggy. Yes Ricky absolutely loved it, I thought it was OK and Bobbinia as ever doesn’t know what to think (he just caught the second half). Ricky has been running about the place whooping and hooting (luckily the neighbours don’t seem to see or hear him or Bobbinia), he’s finally slowly coming back down to baseline now so I’m not going to share your Rose theory with him just yet as that would set him off again just as I’ve managed to get him settled. 🙂

The Rose theory fits though Bobby, you just wait and see it all pan out
I'm very happy to hear that the neighbours aren't being put out by Ricky and Bobbina. A quiet Sunday afternoon suits everybody (Especially those watching the tennis
            ).
Speaking of, has Sally been by recently?
Has she met Ricky and Bobbina?

Sally Ann is always walking past and I call her over pretty much every time, even if I have nothing to say to her.
Like the rest though, she never makes remark on Ricky and Bobbinia, it’s as if she too doesn’t see them.

That's why I asked, I was testing out a theory.
What if Ricky and Bobbina are invisible people Bobby?
Invisible to other people and only heard by you.

I came across one about 20 minutes ago who insulted me for reading in pubs…which I don’t actually do (or even visit pubs/bars much for that matter), I just said I liked the idea of it.

I love taking a book with me somewhere and just settling down for the day if it’s nice weather and having a read. I go to Skipton and find a bench, or maybe St Anne’s beach. I might go up Pendle Hill to read or a nice secluded spot in Sabden. 😊
Also beer gardens are wonderful reading spots too. 🙂

I've made loads of friends in pubs either from me reading a book or from me approaching someone reading a book.
It's perfectly civil and a much nicer way to stay safe, dry and have lunch/beer while reading of an afternoon Bobby
But some just don't understand what it is like to read a book and enjoy yourself

It is such a shame that they will never find that joy. Reading is the most relaxing de-stressing thing you can do…and in a nice setting with a nice beer or two, or sat outside with sunshine and a nice view makes it even better. 😊
I bought (or rather Ricky bought but to hell with it we’re the same) A Haunting on Hill House and Oliver Twist yesterday from Waterstones. The lady who served me tried to engage me in customer service themed conversation but it went wrong. First she asked how I was, then commented on how the weather had fined up a bit from earlier. Then she said ‘I love Shirley Jackson’. I replied with ‘yeah I watched the TV series that was loosely based on it a while back, but never read the book’. She asked ‘what was the TV series?’ and I replied ‘it was called The Haunting of Hill house or something’. She looked a bit none plussed then said thank you and bye. 🙂

I probably won’t buy in store again as it never really goes well. I’ll probably just buy online. Though it is quite nice to have a browse and then choose your next read. 🙂
I wish they had self service checkouts there at Waterstones like they do in supermarkets.

I just don’t know what to say back to them! A better response would have been ‘oh really? Can you suggest some other good books by her for a future read?’ but I don’t and say something awkward instead because they put me on the spot, I don’t feel confidant enough to have that sort of conversation with a stranger AND there are people behind me waiting to be served and I don’t wish to hold them up. Also I just don’t feel comfortable knowing that it’s customer service patter and not genuine.
