I'm a big Supremes fan. I find the first few minutes of this flick to be incredibly boring; in fact, I don't know if I can continue watching it.
Should I continue? If so, why? Please make your case.

Well, I enjoyed it. So that's all I can really say - there were some incredible acting and singing performances from Hudson. But if you find the first few minutes boring, and you are a supremes fan, then you probably should skip it.
