Did you miss the fact there were no women here, only intelligent toastersor are you that insecure and project way too much?

Well the fact that it was about intelligent machines and not real women aside, maybe this movie should be a little lesson about why you shouldn't immediately throw yourself into helping someone and trying to solve every problem in their life, even if you are attracted to them.
Caleb could've avoided the entire situation if he didn't get caught up and create a fantasy of escaping with Ava.
That was what I took away as a guy. Measure and really think about what you want out of interactions with others, and what they're trying to get from you.

More like an accurate portrayal of how weak men can be. Put a pretty face, fake breasts and vagina on somethinganything, give it a silky smooth voice and make it out to be a victim and voila!

I'll add that it took Caleb about a week to fall for Eva. I fell for her in less than 2hrs!! I'm weaker than he is!

                Exactly.
I mean it is just a robot, not an actual human or living being how he fell in love with a robot and felt pity for it is beyond me. I mean what do you do when your computer is broken or outdated? You junk it! Same thing here! However, in this case the computer was smart and pretended to show emotions (which it can't actually feel since it is just a machine), and had tits, and some idiot fell for it!

You're right! It also very well portrayed how weak "nice guys" are and how they will betray their morals, friends and co-workers for a chance at some poon.
A classic "bros before hoes" moral here, if you ask me.
Even after acknowledging that Eva is just a robot, and then EVEN AFTER acknowledging that she was so complex that she was just manipulating him for a chance at escape, and didn't actually care about him at all, he still sided with her and got both him and the true protagonist Nathan killed.

Except there were no women in this movie. There were two robots who looked like women both of which were designed, built and programmed by a man. Ava did nothing more than follow the programming she was given. Caleb was an idiot who not only should have known better but DID know better, and the fact you've apparently equated actual humans with robots makes you as big of an idiot as him. At least where people are concerned.

yes she was only using him in her own chess game to get out of the house.
and that meant using her female wit.

Look at the bright side. They screw nice guys over, harden them and turn them into bad guys, which they're naturally attracted to. Well in the context of the movie, there's always a survival element, which not all guys succeed in achieving. But those that do end up the better for having been screwed over.
