How did Gadget know where the kid lives?

They met in the tunnel where Gadget was picking on the kid, then he went away without being followed or owt. I thought Gadget coming in being all nice and that was kinda odd, but what I wanna ask is, how did Gadget know where the kid lives?

Some time has passed since the tunnel incident, so who is to say they didn't speak at school or once again after school in the tunnel?

Well they couldn't have spoken at school since it was the summer holidays.
But I assume Gadget asked around, like in a shop or something. It's a fairly small community so he couldn't have been that hard to find.
