Fright Night! a high school kid casually spies on his neighbor, out his window, and discovers that he is a blood sucking creature of the night. Excellent 80s movie, seriously.

I haven't seen it, but Rear Window has a very similar plot.

            I believe in Anne Hathaway.

Rear Window is a Hitchcock masterpiece.

I've been meaning to watch it. I feel more inspired to see it because I'm watching Disturbia on TV.

first of all you are a beep moron if you honestly think disturbia is anywhere in the neighboorhood of rear window.
also the movie next door with randy quaid and james woods is another one

I agree with the previous post, opinions are ok, but yeah, disturbia doesn't even touch Rear Window. I have no issue with opinions, but there is a difference between art and simple minded entertainment.

actually when I saw this i thought it should be considered a remake of rear window. instead of a broken leg, he has a house arrest anklet. both are confined to their house because of their leg. both are loosing a since of reality do to the isolation and are spying on their neighbors out of lack of better things to do. then no one believes the crazy isolated guy. I just thought the similarities are more then just coincidence. Not that I didn't like the movie. it was a decent movie and kept me entertained.

I actually thought it was intended and understood to be a remake of Rear Window, with some changes and updates. There are too many similarities to be coincidental.
