Rated NC-17 for strong language, some graphic nudity, crude and sexual content, graphic surgery sequences, and mild drug use.

Has it even ever happened that a film got rated for the strong language? The documentary beep had VERY many swears, not even just "beep" and still got rated R.

The King's Speech got rated R for 'Strong Language' in the scene where
Bertie swears repeatedly in his therapist's office because it is noted that he does not stutter when he swears.
There was a PG-13 version released without that scenemainly, it got a PG-13 for smoking, at that point. I wish this documentary had been released in 2011, or re-done to include The King's Speech.

Sorry, I forgot to mention if a movie ever got an "NC-17"-rating for the language.
Don't think that'll ever happen actually.

For dialogue, it almost happened to Clerks, but was changed to R on appeal.

So now they were guilty of violating a parent safety child law instead? But, the clerk is permitted as an adult if they can take proper id from age safety children, without an adult; still NC-17? But, that showing is rated R in the motion picture industry, and not NC-17; because no id is needed from a child if they are with an adult?

                Mine:
Rated R for pervasive strong language and sexual dialogue/content

NC-17 for fantasies involving extreme aberrant disturbing graphic brutal violence, pervasive language and strong sexual content, shocking images and extremely disturbing and bizarre content.

Yeah, it's why they don't let people go to war until they are 17 years old!

NC-17 for some graphic violent images, pervasive strong language, sexual content and graphic nudity, some drug content, and some anti-social behaviour.

Is this something that can come with criminal charges if you are the manufactuer of a product and it is sold to a minor, as it's like a product guarntee that it won't fall into the hands of minors? After a product is manufactured you are still liable by certain safety regulations and laws, showing that you are a responsible vendor? And, if that right to permit had been violated, you can also loose your license or product vendor number & get sued? Whether the MPAA had rated it or not on motion picture charges?

You talk as if my life is a pornographic anarchist threat to society or something.
I doubt anyone would be dumb enough to sell my life to a minor anyway. I mostly just sit around and think unhappy thoughts with a big imagination, and I write stories with lots of violence and stuff. The nudity's just because well you gotta pee sometime.
                          I also swear a lot.

That's what is so stupid. Any adult's actual life would get an NC-17 rating for sure. So we need these douchebags to rate our movies for us why?

I hate them so much. But I'm also obsessed with ratings (kind of a paradox, I know; I organize most of my DVDs by Canadian and American ratings unless I have more than three films from the same director or starring one of my favourite actors, which I group together it's an OCD hobby of mine)
We don't need their ratings or their oppressive, hypocritical little attitudes and I hope they're disbanded (I know THAT'LL be the day) and replaced by a system that doesn't force the crap they do on filmmakers just to get them released to mainstream audiences.
