At one point (I don't know if they're still available), there used to be seven-pair underwear sets sold with a different day of the week stitched on each one (Sunday - Saturday). She's saying that he stole her Thursday pair; but, given the context, it's pretty funny in the movie.

        Thanks.
My dad always quotes that and I never understood.
        Amazing film.

Hearing about all the things that guy had supposedly stolen was the only part of the film I liked. I never even made it to the end.
          "Hey! Ladies! That was fun!"

And you've missed a lot buddy. The film was hilarious.
            Just my two cents

For me little parts such as this made it a great film.
