The musicians whose actual preformances are included:
        Ben Harper
        Thievery Corporation
        Spearhead
        Squarepusher
        Mars Volta
        Belle & Sebastian
        Nu Mark & Cut Chemist
        White Stripes
        Iggy & the Stooges
        Fischerspooner
        Oasis
        Bjork
        Radiohead
        Polyphonic Spree
        Kool Keith
Saul Williams (The song preformed on the movie, for the person who asked, was "Om Nia Merican")
        Arcade Fire
        Bright Eyes
        Chemical Brothers
        Crystal Method
        Morrisey
        Pixies
        Red Hot Chili Peppers
        Flaming Lips
        Zero 7
        with other appearances by:
And you will know us by the trail of dead
        Beck
        Bloc Party
        Blonde Redhead
        Christopher Lawrence
        Elbow
        Foo Fighters
        Josh Homme
        Medusa
        Mos Def
        Paul Oakenfold
        Perry Ferrell
        Queens of the Stoneage
        Sandra Collins
        Siouxsie Sioux
        The Hives
        The (Int'l) Noise Conspiracy
EVERYONE included has a somewhat small part. People should keep in mind that this movie is about attemding Coachella as a whole experience, NOT about individual bands and what they contributed. Everyone is going to feel miffed about something they loved not being included, myself included Personally, I think they should have released dvd's showcasing individual years, too.

question: what is the song that plays during the menu screen on the DVD? or who sings it? that song kicks a lot of ass.

The song played during the DVD menu is Thievery Corporation's "Lebanese Blonde", probably most famous from the Garden State soundtrack.
The only song titles I can recall off the top of my head is The Mars Volta - This Apparatus Must Be Unearthed, Fischerspooner - Emerge, The Polyphonic Spree - Light & Day / Reach For The Sun, and The Pixies - Where Is My Mind?

              That list comes in handy.
Does anyone have a link for
              song titles
              and
              dates
              ?
I'm running into problems with some fan sites that are trying to distribute various live performances without trampling on official releases.

Granny: Well I ain't cookin' 'em.

The song Saul Williams performed is called Om Nia American off of his album Amethyst Rock Star

I haven't been to Coachellabut I didn't know Jamie Cullum played! I like him haha. Umm, I wanted to see a Blonde Redhead performanceother than that they had everything I wanted to see ((Bjork, The Arcade Fire, Saul Williams, White Stripes, Radiohead))

Coldplay is boring, sterile stadium "rock". NIN isn't bad, but Reznor needs to grow up.

The Bonus disc is lame. I hoped it would be more performances. Instead it has Posters & very short interviews. Totally disappointed.

In my opinion Bjork, for being pregnant, did the best job as a performer. Her style, emotion, and high register voice were all A-class. She probably got the most energy out of the crowd than anyone else that year, people were moshing, dancing hysterically, singing (more like screaming) along with her songs, it was just a great time for all of them. Apparently it was a very emotional experience, too. Many people were telling me how many people were crying when she sang "All is Full of Love" and "Joga", I wish I could experience that first hand. 😞
