Watching on FX and they mention eight Chevelles were used and only one survived to the end.

That part was the most heart-wrenching of the whole movie for me. I cringed with every scratch and dent.
Note to Hollywood: They make kit cars. Use those for this sort of thing and quit destroying beautiful classic automobiles.

I look at it as if the glass is half full.We got to see a movie with a kick ass 70 Chevelle SS in an awesome car chase scene with a cool actor that does his own stunt driving. I'm just tickled they went with a Chevelle!
