all through the movie, i thought she was some kind of satanist in a cult because of her retro a$$ looking black dress (complete with a corset), and the fact the house number was 666. talk about being way off lol.
other than that, waste of time watching this. was into it until the policemen came and it turned into torture porn. is this what the recent french horrors are like that people on this board have been heavily praising? because if it is, then that's weak as hell. torture porn isn't horror, it's just loners with sick a$$ fantasies they dream about doing in real life -

To me, l'intrieur isn't torture porn (I hate that expression anyway it makes no sense). Martyrs is, especially in its second half, but not this one, despite the apocalyptic hell the main character go through. ^^; I hate "torture porn" movies, I only liked the first Saw, couldn't even go through the first Hostel (not because it made me sick, but because it was just lame) l'intrieur has some serious writing flaws, and its last third should have ruined it, but quite astonishingly, I found the plot holes and dumb stuff forgivable because in the same time, the somewhat realistic thriller turned into a surrealistic and nearly supernatural movie (you talked about Satan). And a gorgeous one to watch, with a great atmosphere. This is why I still think it's the best horror movie we've done along with Haute Tension (Alexandre Aja).
