Do you think he went to prison for murder? Or do you think they would have put him in a hospital? I mean literally just 1 minute before the tanks rolled up things looked hopeless. I curious how it would have ended for him. Besides being an emotional wreck.

I'd say no to his going to prison. It was an unimaginable disaster with enormous human cost. Probably not much investigating done about how people died and so forth. As for losing his mind, on the other hand, I really wouldn't be surprised

I picture him in a mental hospital, making surrealistic paintings of the mist and the creatures with dark religious symbolism. His artwork gains a significant following.
