Is the universe simply going through the motions?

That's not an answer. In one part of the universe something happens while in another part of the universe something else happens. If your "has to" to exists then that means one of the things "had to happen" while the other "did not have to happen".
I propose that this is impossible. In other words, I propose that "has to" is entirely imaginary.

ā 6 years ago(July 18, 2019 08:53 AM)Okay, like things can happen for odd reasons. It might be a sign of something new happening.
Yes, though, reality is reality. We see and hear things sometimes that aren't there, some of us. We dream at night.
I saw 3 UFO's, 1 big ghost sighting, and lots of little sitings of shadows some more or less like real people and the others more vague interpretations.
Well, here's one oft the UFO ghosts. It was on a ghost tour in the oldest continuing city int the US, where lots of people catch things. You might have to enlarge it to see it.
I saw this the next day or so at home at a college I was attending an event at.
Other people had one like I saw, too:
½ S/N Asian (40%+ Chinese) ½ Norwegian/Danish-Irish Swiss (Amish/PA) German French Dutch? French+Dutch Celtic-Irish English-Irish?
